Lewiston Government Meetings- Week of June 28th

This week, the City Council will hold a special meeting to discuss recent youth gun violence. Here’s what to expect.

 

Lewiston City Council Special Meeting
Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00 pm
Multi-Purpose Room at Lewiston High School, 156 East Avenue

The topic of the meeting is to discuss youth gun violence in the city.

Presenters for the meeting will include:

  • Lewiston Police Chief Carly Conley
  • Androscoggin County District Attorney Neil McLean
  • Lewiston High School Superintendent Jake Langlais
  • New Beginnings Executive Director Chris Bicknell

 

Following the presentations, the City Council will offer comments and then the Mayor will open up the meeting for public comment. No votes are planned or expected to be taken during the meeting.
