The Mayor said his existing temporary public safety committee will go until at least August, despite pleas from Councilors to end it when this new committee is created.

The School Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Planning Board will each meet on Monday.

City staff will work with Platz’s team to develop performance standards, with a future vote on an extension of up to five years.

The plan will be reviewed by city legal staff, and is expected to return for a vote at the next Council meeting.
