Lewiston Government Meetings- Week of Feb. 15th

The Lewiston City Council will meet on Tuesday night and the Androscoggin County Commissioners will meet on Wednesday night.

Lewiston City Council Workshop and Meeting
Tuesday, February 17th at 6:00 pm (Regular Meeting starts at 7:00pm)

Important topics include:

  • Adding stop signs on Rideout Avenue
  • Barring cooperation with ICE for a limited period of time
  • Banning lot rent increases at mobile home parks
  • First passage for creating a standing Public Safety Committee
  • Receiving input from the Finance Committee and the Planning Board regarding the FY27 LCIP
  • Directing city staff to assess the needs of Individuals affected by the 2023 mass shooting
  • Approving the Option Agreement of Bates Mill #5 for up to five years
