This week, the Planning Board and the Public Art Committee will each hold meetings. Here’s what to expect.

 

Lewiston Planning Board Meeting
Monday, June 8th at 5:30 pm
City Council Chambers, 27 Pine Street
(Agenda)

Important topics include:

  • An extension request for the approval of the conversion of 145 Lisbon Street (The Professional Building) into 20 residential units and 2 commercial units
  • An extension request for the approval of 2 Cedar Street (the Continental Mill redevelopment by Chinburg and Continental Mill LLC) for the creation of 45,000 sf of commercial space and 377 housing units

Important topics include:

  • Update on projects previously approved by the City Council
  • A discussion on the FY27 budget and the upcoming City Council vote (June 16th) on requested projects
  • A discussion on the need for a Maintenance Plan for the City’s Public Art to include when to upkeep and when to decommission
